On Friday January 6th, five former JBHS students spoke at the annual College Day assembly to detail their lives and experiences in college. The graduates let the current students know what to expect, what to do, and what not to do at college and also attempted to clear up some common misconceptions. One of the former students who spoke, Catherine McDonald (JBHS Class of 2015), also detailed her experiences studying abroad in England this past semester. Their advice to students was to not procrastinate, to be organized, to have good of time management, and to spend a lot of time studying. The former JBHS students who spoke include first year students at the University of Maine-Machias, Stacy Alley and Kaitlynn Crowley; first year student at the University of Maine-Orono, Kylie Hinkley; first year student at Middle Tennessee State University, Melanie Meglis, and second year student at UMO, Catherine McDonald.
