When did you decide to become a teacher, and why did you choose this job?

My sophomore year in high school, I thought, that’s what I want to do for a career.”

 What is your favorite teaching memory?

“All the laughs my students have had over the years. From getting stuck in trash cans, to sitting on my desk, and all the students the students that love my class.”

 Favorite subject when you were a student?

“In high school it was English, in college it was Microbiology.”

 What is the biggest challenge that you face as a teacher?

“Students that have bad attitudes about the class.”

 If you were principal, what’s the first thing you would do?

“Four-day school week.”

 What is your favorite song?

“Paradise by the Dashboard Light”

 What is your favorite movie?

“Sleepless in Seattle and The Notebook.”

 Who is your favorite celebrity crush?

“Denzel Washington.”

What are your favorite pastimes?

“Crewel Embroidery, cooking, reading, and gardening.”
