On Tuesday, February 13th, the Royalettes travelled to Washburn for a preliminary game to decide which team would go to the tournament as the eighth seed. There were many Jonesport-Beals fans in the crowd. Washburn’s team was shooting pretty well throughout the game. The Royalettes kept their composure and went on a run to tie the score at halftime.

Lydia Alley came into the game off the bench and was a very helpful defensive and rebounding presence. She was also a force on the offensive end as she scored 17 points. Kaylee Ireland scored 12 more points and the Royalettes won 49-38. They will move on to play Southern Aroostook  in Bangor on Monday, February 19th, at 3:35.
